Viaggio americano: aggiornamento

Il presente post è stato superato, è possibile leggere il programma definitivo e le cronache del viaggio.

Prosegue il lavoro di costruzione del viaggio americano. Alex ed io abbiamo richiesto le brochure sui siti dei vari stati che visiteremo e ci hanno letteralmente inondato di materiale informativo. Studiando tale materiale abbiamo preso nota delle seguenti località con i relativi punti di interesse. Terminato questa attività dovremo tracciare il percorso che ci consenta di visitare questi luoghi e costruire il programma vero e proprio.

Il New England ha molti aspetti che possono guidare la visita, i fari, i ponti coperti, le coste, le balene, i siti storici e la natura.

Abbiamo ordinato su Amazon “New England’s Covered Bridges”, un libro che ho potuto visionare con l’anteprima di Google Libri e che contiene elenco, foto e posizione gps di tutti i ponti del New England. Intendiamo utilizzare questi riferimenti per creare un POI per il Tom Tom, lo stesso dovremo fare anche per i fari.

New York City (4 notti)
In uscita da New York andare ad intercettare quella che poi diventa la State Highway 15, Merrit Parkway, 37 miglia di strada panoramica, che lasceremo prendendo la Milford Parkway, prima di Milford, per andare sulla I-95.
